	Soil Preparation
		Proper soil preparation adds benefits to the future health and durability of your landscape. A proper soil prep begins with the right of equipment. Spreading some black dirt on top of hard clay is no substitute for a soil prep.

Brouwer Landscaping Inc. believes that a proper soil prep will provide many composted dairy manure at a rate of 5 cubic yards per 1000 square feet (approximately 2" thick). We then rip the existing soil and compost with 8" ripper teeth mounted on a skid steer. After ripping the soil, we till it with a skid steer mounted tiller, followed by a final grade with a box scraper roller.
